July allows us to showcase our very own Taylor’s artistic talents. When not serving you the finest coffee in the county, Taylor is creating portraits from our home studio.

“Faces and Places” features a variety of portraits and different themes, from artwork based on Evenley where Taylor grew up, to drawings of famous faces inspired by her love of music.

Working primarily with graphite and ink, Taylor aims for her portraits to appear realistic at first glance, but when viewed closely, her process becomes more visible and sometimes text can be revealed, communicating specific ideas around the art.
